Edradynate offers clay pigeon shooting and driven shooting days on over 30+ drives.
The shoots take place on 2000 acres of the estate over varied topography from ravines and stands on the River Tay to hillside drives. The estate offers a variety of clay shooting packages and driven shooting days ranging from 200-350 birds, including high pheasants and partridges. Parties are treated to Toddy (elevenses) followed by lunch at the main house, prepared by the family’s private cook. Accommodation can also be arranged.
Please contact Sarah on 01256 381 821 for driven days or Ian Smith on 07788 922949 or Vicki Smith on 07815 804248 for clays.
We can assist in arranging stalking at the following estates:
Finnart Estate spans over 5000 acres and is a great place for a days stalking, with its lochs and rugged woodlands makes an excellent environment for the keen sportsman.
The Upper Farleyer beat is one of the best beats on the Upper Tay. It comprises of single (left) bank fishing commencing at the junction of the Tay and the Lyon and extending 1.25 miles downstream, opposite the Bolfracks beat
The Lower Farleyer Beat is the lower half of what used to be called Farleyer Fishings, it is the sister beat to Upper Farleyer. It comprises single (left) bank fishing commencing Dalrawer farm and extending 1.7 miles downstream, opposite the Bolfracks Beat. There is also 600 yards on the South bank at the Haugh of Bolfracks, opposite the fishing hut.
Edradynate stands in 4,000 acres of the beautiful Perthshire countryside.
Edradynate’s beat includes a mixture of strong flowing pools and some faster streams and contains the legendary Church pool, a long deep holding pool. You can expect fish at any time of year from spring salmon at the start of the season to summer grilse. There are some excellent runs for fly-fishing and a mixture of spinner and fly are recommended to get the best out of the beat. A fishing hut is provided for salmon anglers and a boat with experienced ghillie can be booked at an additional cost.
Trout fishing is available on Loch Derculich, situated 2 miles from the house and within walking distance. Access can also be gained with a four-wheel drive vehicle. Please note that you must provide your own rod and fishing equipment and it is recommended that all fishing is booked in advance of your stay with Custom Tied Flies.
