Paddle Boarding, often called ‘Stand Up Paddle Boarding’ or SUP, is a fantastic and fun way to get on the water Our experienced staff will teach you all the tips and tricks you need to get afloat and enjoy this wonderful and fun paddlesport. No previous experience is necessary.
Our guided kayak trips are suitable for everyone, regardless of any previous experience. A half day session gives enough time for a short river trip. A full day allows more time on the water to develop your skills and to explore the loch or river environment. before stopping at a picturesque spot on the riverbank to enjoy lunch.
The open canoe is one of the most versatile watercraft being equally at home on the calmest loch or in crashing white water. Its a fantastic paddlesport for groups of mixed ages and abilities. Everyone can learn something whilst hopefully, not feeling scared or stretched beyond their capabilites. During the session you will paddle through some beautiful Perthshire scenery before returning to our base.
Climbing is a sport which brings great rewards – is there anything better than reaching the top of a tricky climb and feeling the sense of achievement, exhilaration and relief. Just outside Aberfeldy, in the village of Weem, is a perfect wee crag for younger climbers. This can be a whole day or half day activity for families or groups and is a fantastic day out playing and learning in the outdoors environment. For older youths and adults we would travel to just outside Crieff to use a higher crag at Bennybeg. Due to this activity being further afield, booking is essential and its subject to availability.
Indoor Bouldering Wall
Our new indoor bouldering wall, at our base in Aberfeldy, is a fantastic place for beginners to try their hand at rock climbing and bouldering. Its the perfect activity for short sessions on bad weather days. Under our expert tuition, you will develop skills in balance and climbing techniques and learn how to tackle our graded climbs or traverse from one side to the other. Cost : £15 pp for an instructed 1.5 hour session.
Our gorge exploration activity gets you wet, wet, wet ! This activity gives a unique opportunity to explore a gorge from the river perspective. We make our way upstream using various techniques to surmount the natural obstacles the environment presents. This activity is always a hit with our customers despite the fact that it is most definitely a very wet activity. Are you up for the challenge ?
